things i create and other things that make me happy
Love this!!! I am sooooooooooooooooo excited. I
Do you remember when the torch came through San Clemente?
I have some very vague memory of lots of people standing on the streets, trying to see something. If Mom & Dad hadn't reminded me of it every so often, I don't think I'd have any memory of it. I feel like I've filled a gap and created a new memory at the same time! ...and I'll make sure to remind Evie & Canaan on a regular basis that they saw the torch in 2012 :-)
You did well catching that shot: the busy areas seem to be a challenge for getting a good picture. It's coming through the centre of Bromley on Monday, so I hope I do as well as you!
It was so amazing to see. We got there about 1 1/2 hours early in order to get a good spot. We brought things to entertain the kids & ate wagamama on the curb. Got a few strange looks, but also got a front row view! Hope you enjoy it on Monday!
It's fab isn't it - so lucky the sun was out too. We didn't actually go to see it as logistics made it difficult with work, the thought of battling crowds with 2 small children but they did show it on the big screen at school. Also oldest had already seen and held a torch at school and we are going to the Olympics next week - squeee!
That's so great that your son got to see and hold a torch...and that they got to see it at school. Have fun at the Olympics!
Great pic! We missed the torch when it came through Scotland, but there was such an amazing buzz around it. Fingers crossed it all goes well, not long now! :)
A little bit of history. Captures the excitement really well x
So long since it left Cornwall! Looks like a rare dry picture too!
Brilliantly captured! I tried to take pictures when it passed through Stamford and all I got was blurred shots and the back of the bearer's head!
I'm gutted we didn't see the torch in Cardiff, especially as Matt Smith was carrying it. I think we were in Britmums at the time. Thanks for linking up
Thanks so much for taking the time to visit my blog. I'd love to hear from you!
