Guy Crochet Beanie (chemo cap)

You may have seen last week's works in progress...this isn't them, but it's related to the wip 4: lap robe. It's a hat for my friend's husband who recently started chemotherapy. What a great beanie (he thinks so, too! Yay!)...and it's free! I found it here on Ravelry. I used Sublime Extra Fine Merino Wool...so soft and lovely and warm. I have always had the hardest time finding crochet hat patterns for guys that I really like. This is the first one that I've made in which I've really loved the end result. It was also very calming to make because there aren't any tricky stitches or very much counting involved. It was easy to make while I watched my favorite shows at night and is definitely a keeper.

I'm linking up to these fabulous parties!

  1. I took a peek at the pattern, whoa, it can get big!! Love the easy beanies, I have a go-to pattern that I have memorized and I change it up here and there for other hats......I'm off to check out your Etsy store, looks like you have some cute things there :)
